In August 2017, we welcomed the popular American pizza restaurant franchise: Papa John’s, to Elaniin. With over 33 years of experience in the market, Papa John’s is one of the biggest restaurant franchise in El Salvador. They used to engage with their customers only with advertising campaigns in billboards and other outdoors formats. Their social media channels were: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Their old website didn’t provide enough for the customers: the online-shopping system didn’t work, the lack of user experience design was a major problem, the conversion rate was very low.
